Our Story
AgriSmart was founded by Imran Raza in 2016. He worked as a chartered accountant for over two decades prior, in the heart of New Zealand’s dairy farming country, so lived and breathed the complications surrounding payroll and workforce management within the sector. He knew there was a solution to save farmers time, stress and money and so AgriSmart was born!
In the beginning, AgriSmart was all about payroll and time recording. Now the one-stop-shop workforce management system includes employee onboarding, Job Costing, Scheduling & Tasks, and Health & Safety.
Along with the addition of these new features, AgriSmart also evolved to cover the unique payment and operational processes within the horticulture sector.
These industry-specific capabilities have allowed us to expand the range of agribusinesses we can positively impact. As of today, AgriSmart now provides the full range of software features to some of the most influential organisations across New Zealand’s horticulture, agriculture, and viticulture sectors.
