Here at AgriSmart we are continuously exploring new ways of improving our software to meet the needs of our clients. These past few months have been no different with the addition of new features we think will further improve our client’s workflow.

Along with the continually strong growth in clientele, that our amazing support team is so diligently onboarding, our software has seen recent upgrades with the introduction of some major features.

Everything is better in Bulk!
We understand that efficiency and productivity are two significant components of our client’s workflow. Our clients don’t have the time to spend hours micromanaging team members details. That is why we have introduced a new way to edit team details in bulk.
Our NEW ‘Bulk Team Manager’ allows for changes to be made to all or select sets of members within your business’s teams.
This new feature is in the ‘Setup > Team Manager’ section of our AgriSmart software. Upon clicking the ‘Bulk edit’ button you are now able to choose from ‘General’, ‘Employment details’, ‘Payroll’, and ‘Preferences’ to bulk edit the likes of job titles, employee KiwiSaver contributions, regular allowances, timesheet client access, and much more!
We believe this is a major timesaving feature for our clients and one that will continue to make AgriSmart an industry leading option for the primary sector here in New Zealand.

Along with releasing completely new features for our clients we are always looking at ways to improve the existing features on offer. That is why we have launched our new ‘Rehiring Wizard’.
Our answer to replacing the outdated ‘reactivation’ process, the ‘Rehiring Wizard’ will copy over existing employee’s details with the ability for you to edit any information that may have changed. Cutting out the mundane task of gathering all their information again.
As a part of making the rehiring process simpler, all previous earnings and leave details are dealt with correctly for returning employees.
AgriSmart values the input of our clientele. Therefore, we listen and observe to find hidden pain points in our client’s day-to-day use of our software and its integration within their business. The ‘Rehiring Wizard’ is the result of one of these observations and we think the addition of such a feature will be beneficial across a broad range of our clients and the primary sector.

Additional Updates & Features
Logo on payslip – We have provided our clients with the option to include their own logo to their payslips, adding that additional component of professionalism to their business.
Multi-factor Authentication – As digital security becomes an even more important component for clients, we have made efforts to ensure your AgriSmart account is protected. Now with Multi-factor Authentication you can allocate who requires this and how often.
Rebranding – If you have a cool system, you must have a cool style, right? That’s why we have updated our look. AgriSmart has gone under extensive rebranding but don’t be alarmed everything still works the same.
Browser tab description – A very simple change but it is now identifiable as to what section of AgriSmart you are in through the description in the tab of the browser. Traditionally, the browser tab simply said “AgriSmart”, now it says “AgriSmart | Team Manager” if you were in the Team Manager section.
Alerts – Enables admin to implement an alert notification at a set figure in the event that an employee’s gross earnings are incorrect and/or duplicate timesheet entries have been made.
