Automatic PAYE Feature: Streamlining Payroll for New Zealand’s Agricultural Sector

Within AgriSmart’s payroll you already have the convenience of downloading a bank file at the end of each pay run. Then, you simply upload the file to your online banking to initiate a batch payment, automatically scheduling payments to your employees without the need to manually enter names, account numbers, or amounts.

In an effort to continue to push innovation we’re excited to announce a new enhancement – you can now include your IRD payment in the same bank file with our ‘Automatic PAYE’ feature.

When you download your bank file, you now have the option to add the IRD payment. Upload this file to your online banking, and it will pay your workers and the IRD for that pay run.

For one pay run, Claudia is paid $735.68 net and the IRD payment is $294.32 (as filed through payday filing). By adding the IRD payment, the bank file will automatically include both the $735.68 for Claudia and the $294.32 for the IRD – saving you time and further simplifying the payment process.

Instead of waiting until the 20th of the next month to pay the IRD, our clients can now make this payment with each pay run. This helps manage cash flow and cut down on tracking and planning separate IRD payments.
